Every day there are people worldwide being killed, slaughtered or persecuted to death.
As a result, much of the world is in a constant state of grieving and yet at the same time there are terrorist groups planning the mass destruction of innocent people by whatever means they can find at their disposal.
Drug syndicates, interested only in making money, couldn’t care less about the devastation their products will have on the lives of the end users.
Maybe the levels of the world’s oceans are rising, not because of climate change, but because of the tears being shed by the families of lost loved ones around our world.
Meanwhile, here in Australia, we can change channels and watch a so-called reality TV show or our favourite sporting team in action instead of the death and destruction on the news.
Maybe we could even try and live out the words of John Lennon when he wrote, “Give peace a chance”. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could just be guilty of killing each other with kindness?
